Money doesn’t buy happiness. This is something we’ve heard our entire lives, right? As I get older, I’m starting to see more truth in this statement. I used to always think that money would solve my problems, but now I’m starting to realize that it may not even help at all unless we have everything else in place. It can make things worse.

The greatest moments of my life so far didn’t cost me a dime. It was the conversations I’ve had with my closest-friends and family. Buying a new car or a house may give us happiness for the moment, but can it compare to the fun-times with our friends and family? Are the wealthy really a lot more happier than we are? They sure don’t look that much happier.

Money doesn’t buy happiness. It will make life more comfortable, but won’t bring happiness.

I have to agree totally with you on this topic. I am very happy but don’t’ have a penny now. Before I had money but no life or happiness. So true that you can buy comforts but it is only skin deep.

I agree. If you ask yourself the question…”What makes a happy life?”. The answers are usually things like friends, partner, self-esteem, health, satisfying job, family, having fun etc.

How many of those things can money buy? Not many.

I think the only valid argument for “money does buy happiness” would be if you were extremely poor OR if you hate your job. But then again, if you hate your job…just change!

Happiness is a state of mind that really depends how we see the situations in our lives each day. you can have all the riches in the world but still see it as a lonely place.-;;
